SELPAXT has demonstrated much higher reduction rates on more PFAS variants than other PFAS removal technologies on the market, capturing up to 99.7% of PFAS chains, both long and, otherwise hard to capture, short-chain PFAS. Compared with other, conventional methods such as activated carbon or ion exchange, The SELPAXT method is also more cost-effective and generates minimal waste; only 0.1% of the treated water volume.
Flocculation technology
For many landfills in Scandinavia, there is a simpler alternative that delivers reliable results at a much lower cost. This process, known as flocculation, removes up to 95% of PFAS. It can also be used to pre-treat leachate before PFAS removal, as well as to remove heavy metals and other contaminants.
