Founded in 2010, Chromafora is a pioneer in innovative water treatment and metal extraction solutions. Our scientists have developed unique patented and patent-pending water treatment technologies based on proprietary chemistry: SELPAXT and SELMEXT. The technologies focus on removing contaminants while reducing waste through selectivity. SELPAXT eliminates both short- and long-chain PFAS substances from water streams, while SELMEXT targets the removal of heavy metals. 

The SELMEXT method also reduce the need for virgin extraction of several critical raw materials, as gold and other valuable metals can be extracted from waste streams and made available for reuse.
